Beckman Airfuge Beckman Airfuge Air-driven ultra centrifuge with a 5-minute timer, the super-compact ultrafuge is a gigantic asset for your laboratory, it pellets nearly any material that can be sediment in a full-size centrifuge or ultracentrifuge, right on your workbench and in a fraction of the time. This table top centrifuge uses a miniature air turbine capable of accelerating rotors up to 110,000rpm in only 30 seconds. It uses no vacuum or high speed bearings. Rotor speed in rpms can be determined by conversion of the applied air pressure, as read on the integral pressure gauge. Rotor speed is controlled by the pressure regulator knob on top of the unit. It is equipped with a pressure gauge from 0-60psi. On the back panel it has a Levitation Air Increase control and a Brake Tension control. Maximum inlet pressure is 75psig.
