The Agilent BioTek EL406 Microplate Washer Dispenser is a versatile automated liquid-handling system designed for fast microplate washing and reagent dispensing in high-throughput laboratory workflows. Combining a microplate washer with syringe- and peristaltic-pump dispensing modules on a single platform, the EL406 eliminates the need for multiple instruments while supporting a wide range of assay preparation protocols.

The EL406 is compatible with 96-, 384-, and 1536-well microplates, enabling flexible operation across many applications including ELISA assays, cell-based assays, bead-based assays, and fluorescence or chemiluminescence immunoassays. Adjustable flow rates, x-y-z plate carrier positioning, and the Dual-Action manifold allow gentle washing for delicate cell monolayers while maintaining rapid wash speeds for high-throughput screening environments.
