The Agilent VSpin Microplate Centrifuge (Model 05187-001) is a compact automated centrifuge designed for rapid spin-down of microplates in high-throughput laboratory workflows. Engineered for integration into automated systems, the centrifuge provides reliable, low-vibration centrifugation of 96- and 384-well microplates, making it well suited for genomics, proteomics, and high-throughput screening applications.

Paired with the Access2 automated microplate loader (Model 09053-201), the system enables seamless robotic loading and unloading of plates, allowing integration with laboratory automation platforms such as liquid handling workstations and microplate handlers. The loader automatically opens the centrifuge door, transfers the microplate to one of the internal carriers, and returns it to the automation system once the centrifugation cycle is complete.
